Today we show cased our draft copy of our film basically showing our progress so far. We watched everyone’s opening sequence and had an evaluation sheet to fill out and state the positive and negatives and what they could improve.
As a group we found it really helpful to get some honest feedback on our progress, and to understand our strengths and weaknesses.
Our strengths were that people understood the narrative, they felt the commentary and camera work was good and overall really enjoyed it. This gave us a huge confidence boost to know we were doing the right things and people enjoyed our work it was really rewarding.
Our weaknesses that were mentioned were that some parts were a bit jumpy, and the part when Dan is at the mirror the voice over doesn’t make sense. They also commented that more sound is needed and before we previewed our film we knew we needed to include sound.
Overall the showcase went well and we received some valid points to help us make our film really good!

Current Progress
Our editing is nearly completed as a draft as we approxiamtely have more than a quarter left to edit, although we still need to include sound. We have decided to record the sound at Dan's studio as he has proper equipment that could make our music sound really professional. As Dan can play the paino we are going to include him playing with different beats over the top such as a base. We are aiming for a mysterious sound that would also fit into the daily routine.
